SEA OF STARS BEACH LOCATION CRACK
The screen on the sliding glass door had a large tear and the microwave had a big crack in the handle. We called the rental office and they sent someone out right away. Once in our cottage we discovered that the air filters & the metal covers were covered with dust and had obviously not been cleaned in quite some time. We usually stay in Avon (diff rental company) and I've never had to wait so long to get in! No apology or explanation for the long wait was ever given. Yes, we knew check-in wasn't until 4, however we were hopeful that with it being off-season we would be able to get in a little early. We sat right there until around 4:20 when we finally got our keys. A few minutes AFTER 4PM, we went back inside & they said they would check on our cottage. While there we watched a number of guests check in and leave with keys in hand, their cottages ready. Tired of driving and running in & out of the rain we decided to sit in the parking lot. After having lunch and locating our cottage we returned to the office around 2:30 only to be told that our unit was still not ready. However we stopped at the Rental Office around Noon to let them know we were on the island and ready to check in as soon as possible. We got off to a rocky start, arriving on the Outer Banks too early to check in. Thanks for a great vacation Beach Realty!

Its a great rental, nice amount of utensils and dishes/silverware. Its not a problem for a younger, heathier dog. Its not the rentals fault, but our planning hiccup. The only setback was the amount of and the pitch of the steps, not a deal breaker, just something we didnt pre-consider before we rented, because in our case our dog is old with hip dysplasia, and we didnt think of that ahead of time.
SEA OF STARS BEACH LOCATION PLUS
Another big plus was being close enough to walk to the pier, which was one big reason we rented this unit as my adult son loves to fish. It was nice to just walk across the street to the beach access. We loved the proximity to everything without being in the hustle bustle. Even with a rental in the back, it was far enough away so as not to invade our space. we liked the privacy with the openness at the same time. All in all we were very pleased with this rental, it was nice to have the pool and hot tub available in case we wanted to use them, which we didnt, but they were nice to have. We contacted the office to inform them of some little issues just to ensure that we weren't held responsible from previous guests, and they sent people immediately to address the issues. We enjoyed our stay here for the middle of May. Guest Troubleshooting and Informational Videos.Unfortunately, certain types of red tide can be harmful to other organisms, so it’s best to ask authorities before swimming in affected waters. This is the case with Sam Mun Tsai Beach in Hong Kong, which sometimes has crimson water during the day and glowing blue water at night. Sam Mun Tsai Beach, Hong KongĪ phenomenon known as red tide (which is, as you might have guessed, when the water turns red, due to a bloom of microorganisms) has been linked to bioluminescence. Here, we name seven locations where you can experience the otherworldly wonder. The occurrence is more common than you might think, but you have to know where to look. In bodies of water around the world, bioluminescent creatures, typically plankton, light up like a firefly when moved, producing an electric blue glow. While this might be the work of CGI in the movie, it’s actually a real phenomenon. You might have seen it in the Academy Award–winning film “Life of Pi”-a blue glow that grows as the main character Pi swirls the water.
